The Story

Captured by the idea of natural items helping to make and dictate the jewelry, I created the pebble embrace hoops.

The pebble itself forms the internal shape of the hoop, leaving its unique outline behind in the silver. No two can ever be the same.

As the metal cools, the exterior takes on a beautifully fluid, molten form, reminiscent of the movement of the sea. Inside, the impression of the original pebble remains — a ghostly outline of the stone it was born from.

There is something incredibly satisfying about bringing the two back together. When you take the hoops off, they can be placed around the pebbles that formed them, reconnecting inspiration and finished pieces and becoming little sculptures in their own right.

It’s almost as though you’re borrowing the hoops from the pebbles for the day, before returning them home.

Who made my jewellery?

Emma is the designer and creater of your jewellery.

Emma worked in the fashion and jewellery industry in London for 6 years ,before starting her own brand which has now been running for over 10 years.

Emma was taught traditional and contemporary jewellery and specialises in sustainable sculptural pieces, Emma particularly enjoys testing out new and unique methods of working which are traditional for metal work.
