The Story

The Pebble Orbit Bangle takes its shape from drawings I made around various pebbles, observing their negative spaces, shadows, bumps and grooves. The connection isn’t immediately obvious, but look a little closer and you’ll begin to see it. The exterior of each bangle follows the contours of the pebbles I observed and drew.

It took a while to work out how to translate these drawings into metal. After lots of mould-making, experimenting, trial and error, I finally found a way to capture those irregular, organic lines in the finished bangle.

The inside is rounded and smooth, allowing it to sit gently against the skin. Each bangle has enough substance to feel sculptural without being too weighty. Worn together, they sit beautifully alongside one another, creating a subtle, playful sound as they move.

Emma is the designer and creater of your jewellery.

Emma worked in the fashion and jewellery industry in London for 6 years ,before starting her own brand which has now been running for over 10 years.

Emma was taught traditional and contemporary jewellery and specialises in sustainable sculptural pieces, Emma particularly enjoys testing out new and unique methods of working which are traditional for metal work.
